Pinoso is a great town which is situated right on the border between the provinces of Murcia and Alicante and is located in glorious rolling mountainous countryside and sits about 450 metres above sea level.
Pinoso is also known as “El Pinos”, which gits its name from the pine trees that surround the Pinoso area.
There are a number of interesting neighbouring towns near Pinoso which include Jumilla, Elda, Novelda, La Romana, Yecla Fortuna and Abanilla.
Pinoso is near the two main airports of Alicante and San Javier which are about a 45 minute and 70 minute drive respectively,. Both airports offer routes to all the major UK airports by most of the budget airlines. There is also a new airport under construction just over 45 minutes away near Murcia.
Pinoso has three swimming pools that open just for the Summer months, and also has sports centre offering both indoor and outdoor activities that appeal to both young and old, and it's open all year round.
